SFTC Picks for Tuesday 3/5

I apologize for the minimal amount of information on most props. I'm still recovering from the embarrassment of me thinking Cincinnati would not killed by Louisville.  Oh well I guess, hopefully I'll do better today. I think there a handful of picks that are just okay. That I wouldn't feel great about risking a large streak on it. But my pick of the day is the Boston Bruins. 8:00 Metallurg Magnitogorsk- Confidence:1

2:45 Real Madrid – Usually I would like to go with the home team. But I just have a feeling that Madrid will win. Since there tied in the aggregate I could see this going into an extra time. Confidence:2

2:45 Ronaldo, RVP, or No Goal –I think this will be low scoring plus the top goal scorers on each team makes this a decent pick. Confidence:3

2:45 2 or 3 goals- Confidence:2

3:48 0 or 1 goal- But it depends on the first half. Confidence:2

7:03 Missouri DD- Missouri had a bad loss at Arkansas earlier this year. Arkansas is 1-8 on the road this year and Missouri is 16-0 at home. Confidence:3

7:03 Missouri Halftime Lead- Confidence:1

7:04 Any Other Result- From a Duke picker on Saturday I think they got lucky on Saturday. I think they win this game pretty easily but I think any other is just safer. Confidence:3

7:04 St Johns – St. Johns beat Notre Dame earlier this year. I think Notre Dame wins this game but I could see a low scoring game which is why I think this is a better pick. Confidence:3

7:05 Tampa Bay Lightning- Devils are cold right now I think the Lightning could score enough to win this game. Confidence:2

7:05 Edmonton Oilers-I think the Oilers are a better team and should win this game. Confidence:3

7:05 Boston Bruins- I think the Bruins bounce back after a tough loss on Sunday against the Canadiens. Confidence:4

7:05Montreal Canadiens- Canadiens are coming off a big win on Sunday so this could be a bit of a let down game. Confidence:2

7:10 Philadelphia 76ers- Boston has been awful on the road this year. Confidence:3

7:35 Florida Panthers- I think they should bounce back after a tough loss on Sunday. Confidence:2

9:05 Indiana DD- I think Indiana is the best team in the nation. I think Ohio St is a little overrated this year. I think Indiana has enough bodies to slow down Thomas which I think could give Ohio St troubles. The only thing from me making me very confident about this pick is Indiana already put a beating on Ohio St once this year. Confidence:4

9:05 Indiana combo- I dont feel good about this pick. I've seen games where Zeller can go scoreless and Thomas is basically Ohio St only offensive player. Confidence:2

9:07 Alabama 3pters made – I think Alabama has pretty good chance to win this game. But Alabama isn’t a great 3 pt shooting team since they average only around 5 a game. Confidence:3

9:40 Thunder DD- I could see this pick going either way. But I think the Thunders athleticism could make this a high scoring game which would allow them to get out and run and really make the Lakers tired. Confidence:4

10:05 Vancouver Canucks- I think there just a better team. Confidence:3

10:10 Indiana 36 or fewer- I want to see the line for the 2nd before committing to this pick but as of right now it seems like a pretty safe play. Confidence:3

10:35 Los Angeles Kings- I’m not a  fan of the Blues and don’t think there that good. The only reason for me not being really confident is LA is playing tonight. Confidence:3

SFTC Picks for Monday 3/4

I’m on the road today but I will still make sure all of my picks are up. Most of my picks I will put more research into so you might have to check back to see if I switch picks or switch the confidence.

My record so far in March is 63-26 (.708). 

So I guess you could say I'm doing pretty well so far. Nothing is really jumping out to me as being a good pick. The only thing I might feel confident in is Cincinnati but hard to say. But I would not risk a high streak on it. Good luck to everyone and let me know if you have any questions.

11:00  Dukla Prague win or draw- I’m not really familiar with this soccer league. Confidence:2

3:00 Aston Villa- I just think this a safer pick. Even though Man City is more than capable or winning by 2 or more. Confidence:2

3:01 28th or later- Confidence:1

4:03 No Goal- But depends on what happens in first half. Confidence:2

7:03 Cincinnati Single digit loss or win- I’ve been saying this for a while. I follow Louisville basketball and I think they are due for a bad game soon. On top of that I’m not sure why Cincinnati has really struggled of later. But if Cincy plays close to where they were playing at the beginning of the year they should keep this close. I think Cincy has better guard play and that’s a main reason for this being a pretty tight game. Confidence:4

7:03 Kilpatrick or tie- I'm baffled at the fact that 93 percent have russ smith. The only reason is he might shoot more times. Kilpatrick is a much better player and since I think Cincy keeps this close he should win this. Confidence:3

7:04 Any Other Result- This is a tough pick for me. On one hand I think Texas Tech is not just a good team and Kansas is. I think Kansas could run away with this but maybe Texas Tech hits a 3 late to only lose by 24. Confidence:2

7:04 Connecticut- I don’t follow women’s basketball that much but this should be a great game. I think Notre Dame is a better team but its hard for me to think Connecticut will lose to Notre Dames twice in one season. Confidence:3

7:05 Toronto- Toronto is tough at home and has impressed me this year. I’m not sure what has happen to New Jersey they may be due for a good game. Confidence:2

7:05 Knicks- dont feel good about it. Confidence:2 

8:10 2 pointer- confidence:2

9:05 Baylor- I am still amazed that Baylor screwed up so bad on Saturday. I’m also in shock that Baylor is a bubble team. I guess it shows how bad some of the bubble teams are this year. With that being said Baylor has something to play for. Texas has played better with Kabongo(spelling) but I think Baylor should be able to pull off a win. Confidence:3

9:06 Baylor halftime lead or tie- I think Kabongo only makes  1 or 2 fgs so as long as Baylor comes ready to play they should win this. Confidence:3

9:06 North Carolina A&T- more research needed – Confidence:1

9:07 Phoenix Coyotes- I am really impressed with the Ducks this year. But I believe they have to come back to earth soon. Confidence:2

9:10 Juan Martin Del Porto- I'm concerned about Nadals knee and this is an exhibition match. Confidence:2

10:10 69 or more- I want to see the 2nd half line at halftime but feel this is a decent pick. Confidence:3

10:35 Los Angeles Kings- This should be a really good game. I think Nashville has underperformed this year. But Kings are at home. Confidence:2

SFTC Picks for Sunday 3/3

Sorry for the minimal amount of information on some the picks. But most are toss ups. As of right now none of the picks are really sticking out as being solid picks. So right now my pick of the day would be North Carolina winning margin. Even though I dont like risking high streaks on a tough prop like that.

11:00 Arsenal win or draw- I think a draw is the most likely outcome. Confidence:2

12:30 Detroit- Blackhawks have yet to lose in regulation. I think there due. But I don’t think Detroit is very good. Confidence:2

1:05 Any Other result- Confidence:3

1:00 Miami Heat- Miami is playing unreal right now. There is no way I could pick against them. The only thing I might change would be my confidence level. Confidence:4

1:30 Any Other Golfer- Confidence5

1:33 Georgia- Confidence:3

2:03 Dayton DD- Confidence:2

2:05 North Carolina winning margin or tie- I’m a big UNC fan so this may be a lil biased. But I feel UNC has been playing real well recently. They have really impressed me because there playing 4 guards on the floor most of the time. On top of that they are very tough at home. Florida St really struggles on the road. I think if UNC wins by 12 or more which I think is likely to happen then they should cover. Confidence:4

3:00 Islanders- Ottawa 3 games in 4 days. Confidence:3

3:00 Columbus- Colorado struggles on the road. Confidence:2

3:00 Dallas Stars- Depends on who is in net for the Blues. If Halak is this pick is at a 2. If he isn’t then this will be a 4.Confidence:2

3:05 Any Other Manufacturer- No idea

3:30 Clippers- OKC beat them twice this year. I don’t think they’ll be able to do it 3 times. Confidence:3

3:35 Kentucky- Tennessee has already clinched the conference and has nothing to play for. Confidence:3

4:00 Michigan Wolverines- Michigan was awful when these 2 teams met early this year. I think both these teams are overrated. Michigan St is solid defensively but I think Trey Burke will be too much. Confidence:3

4:05 Duke by 15+- Confidence:2

5:10 Chicago Fire- Confidence:1

6:00 NC ST- There are a much better team but they struggle on the road. Confidence:3

6:00 Florida- These teams are playing against each other on back to back days. Confidence:2

7:50 Portland Timbers- I think the draw is the most likely outcome. Confidence:3

8:00 Minnesota Wild- They have been play better of late. I think they should win this game at home. Confidence:3

8:10 Pacers winning margin or tie- Bulls will be playing on back to back nights. I don’t think they have too many good 3 pt shooters. Confidence:4

SFTC Picks for Saturday 3/2

Sorry for the minimal amount of information. Most of the picks are toss ups that I did some research on.
Picks were 15-7 yesterday. There are some solid picks today. If I change anything I will post it on here. My Pick of the day right now is Duke. But I might change it.

8:15 Tiger Woods- I think Tiger is just the better golfer and will come prepared tomorrow. Confidence:3

10:00 Norwich City- The way I view this game is I think Manchester United will score 2 goals and its just a matter if Norwich city does. I think that a lot can happen so I’m going with the odds. Confidence:2 

11:00 Maryland- waiting to see what the line is. Confidence:2

12:00 Virginia Commonwealth Rams- I am a believer in VCU. I think they are a solid team this year and should make a deep run in March. I look at Butler and think that there just an average team. They have not impressed me that much. They struggle on the road. VCU should handle them and win this game. Confidence:5

12:00 Syracuse – This is a tough matchup to write up for. I like Louisville and think they are a solid and better team but I think Syracuse needs this game bad. Confidence:2

12:03 Any other Result- As good as Florida is I don’t see Alabama getting dominated in this game. Confidence:3

12:30 Wigan Athletic- I think the draw is the most likely outcome. Confidence:2

1:00 Boston Bruins- On paper this looks like a lock. So I’m wondering if SM knows something. Maybe Rask has an off game or the backup is playing. Confidence:3

1:40 71 or Fewer- I feel this is the much safer play. Confidence:4

2:00 Marquette- Marquette is a solid team that I think should handle Notre Dame. Notre Dame struggles on the road. Confidence:5

2:00 Creighton- I think Creighton wants to beat Wichita St after they beat them about a month ago. Confidence:4

2:05 Kansa 15+ - Pretty simple. Kansas is good. WVU is bad…really bad. Confidence:3

3:00 Valparaiso- Confidence:3

3:00 Buffalo Sabres- Confidence:2

3:00 Winnipeg Jets- Confidence:2

3:00 USC Trojans- USC plays a lot better at home. Confidence:3

5:00 California- Cal is really hot right now but I really like Colorado. But Colorado road struggles scare me. Confidence:3

7:00 Baylor- I think Baylor has too much talent is due for a good game even though they have been bad this year. Confidence:2
