SFTC Picks for Sunday 6/2

I hope everyone had a great day yesterday on the first of the month. My only confident pick in that lost was the Penguins so hopefully no one else besides me picked them.
Hopefully I will have time to update my picks tomorrow if I don't like any of the lineups for baseball. Best of luck to everyone and let me know if you have any questions.




825 9 games or fewer- I think Tsonga will win either 6-3 or 6-4 in the first set. Odds are favoring the over.  Confidence:2

1125 Radwanska- Confidence:2

1205 Troy- Confidence:2

1230 Georgia- Confidence:2

1240 Kuchar or Stanley- Have not watched a ton of this tournament but have followed it all week. Kuchar has a 2 shot lead on 2 people and there are about 10 guys within 3 or 4 strokes back. Kuchar is a very consistent golfer and I think he has pretty good shot to win tomorrow even if he doesn't play his best round. The only golfer behind him that scares me is Justin Rose. Rose is a solid golfer and will probably make a push but I think Kuchar should win tomorrow. Confidence:4

105 Cleveland Indians- Indians have struggled of late going 4-6 in their last 10. Hellickson has struggled in almost every start this year. I don't see today being any different. McAllister has been pretty consistent all year. Indians should win this game today. Confidence:3

105 Texas- Have to think Florida will be really fatigued after the long game last night. Confidence:3

135 Atlanta Braves- The much better pick here. Maholm has been solid this year especially at home. Confidence:4

135 Pittsburgh Pirates- Think they are just a better team at the moment. Latos has been solid against the Pirates in his career and has been solid of late. Gomez has also been solid of late. I think the Reds are the better pick here despite the Pirates haven't been sweep since Sept of last year against the Brewers. End of the day Latos is too good. Confidence:2

135 Philadelphia Phillies- Whenever Cliff Lee is on the mound he always gives his team a chance to win. Lee (6-2, 2.34 ERA) has pitched at least seven innings while going 4-0 with a 1.15 ERA over his last five starts. But is 0-1 with a 5.08 ERA against the Brewers in 5 starts. I think the Phillies should win here but don't follow the 99 %. Some Brewers have a very good history against Lee. Confidence:3

210 Minnesota Twins- Have no faith in either pitcher but I would have to give a slight edge to Diamond. Not sure what to expect from Bonderman's first start. Confidence:2

215 St. Louis Cardinals- They are red hot and the Giants are not. Lyons is a rookie who has pitched extremely well in first couple starts but against not so good of offenses. Gaudin is a reliever who has had a couple starts in his career. I cant expect that much out of Gaudin. I think the Cards should put enough runs up to win this game. But I have a feeling Lyons struggles here and that is the only thing holding me back from making this a confident pick. Confidence:4

220 Arizona Diamondbacks-Corbin has been unbelievable up to this point this year. He should get enough run support with his lineup going up against Jackson. Only thing that scares me is I think Corbin is due for a bad game. I don't see it happening here but it wouldn't surprise me. Confidence:4

230 Germany- Just a friendly but a better team. Heard they will be playing there B team thinking draw might happen.  Confidence:1

300 Brazil- Just a friendly but a better team. Confidence:2

405 Chicago White Sox- Lets try this again. I think Oakland is a very good team but that they are really over achieving. I think the White Sox are too good a team to play this poorly. I know there bats are cold but Sale is an ace and when hes on, watch out. I don't think Parker is that good and is really hit or miss at home. I think the White Sox bats have to come alive and will today. Sale should get a win here as long as he gets 3 or 4 runs. Sox avoid the sweep.  Confidence:4

410 Colorado Rockies- De la rosa has never beaten Dodgers before but I think tomorrow could be the day. I just like the Rockies right now and think they should beat the Dodgers tomorrow. This pick is based off of if Ryu pitches. There is a good chance he doesn't pitch tomorrow. If Ryu does not pitch tomorrow this will most likely be my most confident pick tomorrow. Confidence:4

805 Boston Red Sox- Both Buchholz and Kuroda have been amazing to this point in the season. I think Boston is just a better team and is playing better right now. I like Boston's lineup more the Yankees. Confidence:2

806 Any other result- Confidence:2

810 Chicago Blackhawks- They looked really good in game 1. Think they really thrived off of the crowd at home. This game could go either way because I think the Kings will play better. But if I am picking this I  have to go with the better team at home. Confidence:4

835 Hits or tie- Could change this pick but odds are there are at least a couple of hits. Neither pitcher is a big strikeout pitcher. But both teams have nights that they strikeout a good bit. Confidence:2

945 4 or more- Depends on who is expected to be up but should happen. Confidence:3
