SFTC Picks for Sunday 7/14
Monthly Path (48-28)
Froome or Quintana
AIK
Pirates(forfeit if losing then pick)
Oakland Athletics
St. Louis Cardinals
Trap Picks(4-7)
445 Froome or Quintana- This is a really hard stage to predict. There is a break away at the end of the race that could really keep a lot of people involved in the race late. I think that ultimately Froome is the one most likely to win and he will. Froome ultimately proves tomorrow that he is the best and will win. Confidence:2
1030 Anzhi Makhachkala- Everything in my research shows that they are the better team. They actually played not too long ago and Anzhi won 2-1. Confidence:2
1130 AIK- AIK just looks like a much better team. They have not lost in over a month. Maybe they draw this game because Syrianska but that gives me no reason to not pick AIK here. Confidence:3
105 Cleveland Indians- I would usually pick the Royals every time Shields is pitching but I would take the Indians here with the way they have been playing. Confidence:2
110 Washington Nationals- Could the Marlins really sweep the Nationals? I like both pitchers and think they are both decent. I just think the Nationals are too good of a team to get swept here. They switched up their batting order which I think shows that they want this game more. Confidence:4
135 Pittsburgh Pirates- Cant go wrong with picking a good team against a bad team. Pirates look like they are back to normal and playing well. Even if Mckenry catches here I couldn't pick against them. I do however think the Mets have played well in this series and that Gee will pitch well in this game. Confidence:3
135 Toronto Blue Jays- Confidence:1
405 Oakland Athletics- Confidence:4
410 Seattle Mariners- Confidence:3
410 Arizona Diamondbacks- Confidence:2
410 Los Angeles Dodgers- Confidence:2
410 San Diego Padres- Confidence:2
800 St. Louis Cardinals- Confidence:2
