725 Cavendish or Kittel- This race is very similar to the one on Stage 12 that means it will come down to the sprinters. There are basically only 4 top sprinters that this race will come down to. Kittel is on fire right now. Cavendish needs a win. Griepel is the 1 that scares me on this pick because he got in a crash yesterday and might have some extra motivation. I don't think you could pick against the 2 top favorites in this race. But I feel less confident then yesterday.

405 St. Louis Cardinals- Bottom line is I think the Cards are too good to lose 2 games in a row. Matt Holliday might not play in this game but he hasn't played that well this year as he usually does. Kelly is a 2 year player that has been mainly a bullpen guy this year. I was really impressed when I saw him pitch a couple of times last year. Cubs always play the Cards tough but I couldn't pick them to lose in back to back games. Confidence:3

705 New York Mets- Hefner has been on fire recently for those who don't know. After going 0-5 with a 4.50 ERA in his first 7 starts he now has a MLB best 1.64 ERA since June 4. Do I really have to say anything else. Pirates usually play well at home but are in a slump. Oh ya Charlie Morton is on the mound. Confidence:2

730 Atlanta Braves- I cant pick against them at home considering how well they play there and how bad the Reds are on the road. Heyward got hurt in Thursdays game which will be interesting to see how they handle that. I would of probably had this as 1 of the best picks of the day if he was playing. Arroyo has 1 of the worst road/home splits in all of MLB. He is 1-5 with a 5.70 ERA. Medlen is a little inconsistent for my liking but he usually pitches well at home ( 3-4 with a 2.83 ERA). One of the big things Arroyo struggles with is left batters. I could see Freeman having a big game here but the loss of Heyward might be a little too much. I still just don't see Reds winning this game. Confidence:4
