Los Angeles Clippers over San Antonio Spurs in 6

Los Angeles Clippers over Brooklyn Nets in 5

My actual series winners are now 9/14

Here is my NBA Finals prediction:

Miami Heat vs San Antonio Spurs-  As I have said I love a lot of players on the Spurs. Should be an interesting series with 2 teams that have a lot of similarities. I think one of the huge weakness for San Antonio will be having a guy that can contain Lebron. I understand Leonard is good but I see him struggling a lot against Lebron defensively. I think it will be interesting who Lebron guards because I could see guarding Parker and Duncan during the game. In his defense there aren't many people in the league who can contain Lebron. I think the Heat with home court will be able to win this series in 6 or 7 games. I say Heat in 6.

My actual series winners are 8/12( Nuggets, Clippers, Nets, Thunder)

Here are my Conference Finals predictions:

Eastern Conference:

Miami Heat vs  Indiana Pacers - Something that worries me in this series is Dwyane Wade's health. I understand most people in the playoffs aren't a 100 percent at this point but he doesn't look like himself to me. I also think the Heat haven't played great so far in the playoffs. I know that's hard to say since they are 8-1. But I don't think they have been truly tested to this point in the playoffs in that kind of worries me. I think Hibbert with ultimately cause a lot of problems for the Heat. I think he is turning into one of best big man in the NBA. This series should be tough and hard fought but I cant pick against the Heat. Heat in 7.

Western Conference:

San Antonio Spurs vs Memphis Grizzlies - This should be a great series and I have switched my pick back in forth. The Spurs are one the NBA I like the most and have a lot of respect for. Duncan is one my all time favorite players. One of my favorite UNC players is Danny Green. I just think the Spurs look a little tired against the young Warriors in the last series. I am also worried about Parker's ankle because he isn't healthy I don't think the Spurs have a chance. I have officially jumped on the Memphis bandwagon. There are so many words to describe the way they play. I'll only name a few: unselfish, hustle and defense. The way they ware down the Thunder was so impressive to me. I think ultimately the Grizzlies are too physical down low for the Spurs. Grizzlies in 6.

I didn't have time to the first round but I would of went 5/8 (Nuggets, Clippers, and Nets).

Here are my second round picks

Eastern Conference:

Miami Heat vs Chicago Bulls - I don't see anyone in the East beating the Heat. I think Chicago will compete with the Heat and give them games because of their defense and toughness. I would think about changing this pick however if Derrick Rose decided to come back. I don't see that happening. The Chicago Bulls are beat up at almost every position and coming off a hard fought series against the Nets. I think the Bulls will be lucky to win 1 game in this series. Heat in 5.

New York Knicks vs Indiana Pacers- I think this should be a fantastic series. I really like both of these teams. At this point in time I like the Pacers and it has more to do with the negatives of Knicks. I love watching the Knicks play because of how many 3s they shoot but I have a hard time picking them sometimes because all they need is one bad night. I don't like the way the Knicks closed out the series against the Celtics. I really think the Pacers and Celtics have a lot of similarities with their defense and toughness. Carmelo looked like he really hurt his shoulder at the end of the game on Friday. I think this could be a huge concern going forward. Pacers in 7.

Western Conference:

Oklahoma City Thunder vs Memphis Grizzlies-  I am really impressed with the way the Grizzlies played against the Clippers. But in my opinion the Clippers showed little fight and no heart. It looked like they didn't know how to respond to the Grizzlies toughness. I am not saying the Thunder definitely will but this team was in the Finals last year. Granted they lost one of the best players in the league in Westbrook and that hurts. But  I think the Thunder have the talent and experience to find a way to win this series. Kevin Durant is one of the best players in the league for a reason. I love Tony Allen and think he is really underappreciated but Kevin Durant will score 30 points a game in this series. I think the Thunder will be able to run  and fast break against the Grizzlies. I think this should be a fun series to watch but cannot pick against the Thunder. Thunder in 6.

San Antonio Spurs vs Golden State Warriors- I guess its a good thing I didn't post my picks for the first round because I thought the Nuggets would dominated the Warriors. So I guess I have a shot to be wrong on this call too but I don't see it. Curry is amazing and really emerging as a super star in the league. The only negative I see about the Spurs is their age. I think the rest they got will serve them well as a team with so much experience at the top. I think Parker will be able to keep Curry in check. I think the Spurs are just  more talented and will be able to win this series pretty easily. Spurs in 5.
